What Sleeping Position Is Best For My Baby?
Sleeping close to your baby can make breastfeeding easier but never sleep with your newborn on the same bed. it's a good idea to have your baby crib near your bed and remember that babies should sleep on their back every time they sleep until
the child is 1 year old.
The ABCs of safe sleep:
- Your baby should always sleep alone
- Your baby should sleep on his back
- Your baby sleeps safest in her crib
Things you can do to help your
baby sleep better;
1. Put the crib on the same room
where you sleep, your baby can sleep in the same room with you but never on the
same bed.

3. Have your baby sleep on a firm
surface such as a firm mattress in a safety approved crib covered with a fitted
sheet.
4. Don’t forget to remove any
pillows, bumpers, loose beddings, blankets or toy in the crib where your baby
sleeps to avoid Sudden Infant syndrome (SIDS)
Use sleep clothing such as one
piece sleeper on your baby instead of covering her with blanket at night and make sure nothing covers the baby’s
head.
