What should i consider before buying maternity wears?
Congratulations mom-to-be, I guess you must be so excited on your baby bump and you are no longer comfortable with your everyday normal cloths, that means it’s time to go shopping for maternity wears. Before you grab your purse and head off to your favorite store or mall, sit down and do a little planning. Here are tips that you should always have in mind before buying maternity clothes so that you won’t end up getting the wrong outfit.
if you choose the right quality clothes during your pregnancy, the will last longer and you can save even them up for your next pregnancy journey especially
if you are expecting more children in the future, thereby saving you money later.
Why
shopping?
While dressing for two, especially for working moms, you really need to consider your workplaces sit down and ask yourself some questions, do you want to be
conservative or funky, casual Friday or casual everyday?... do you need clothes
for the in-the-office days or for out-with-a-client days?. Mind you your pregnancy wardrobe needs to be as versatile as your pre-pregnancy ones. As big as your pregnancy life is, they can also be time-limited because in just a few months from now those great new wears you bought are going to occupy the back of your closet, so it's not worth robbing your bank or blowing away baby's funds or even using up the money you are saving for your leave on dozens of smart outfit that you will only wear for little period of time. You really need to plan a wardrobe by comfort, seasonal, functionality, and suitability. In order words, it should be according to the way you need it to.
Keep
your own style and comfort in mind. When choosing a
maternity wear you must remember to always go for your own comfort and not what
makes your friends happy.
If you don’t feel relax in rhinestone sweat shirt
pre-pregnancy, don’t buy one now, especially if it has a glittering arrow
pointing at your belly with the word “BABY” embroidered with pink and blue
floss. Always think twice.
Consider the size. During my first pregnancy, I was so excited of been pregnant and all I could think of is when I could start wearing maternity clothes. Finally during my 4t h month I went for my maternity shopping, I bought many maternity wears like pants, dresses, jackets and skirts as I thought that I will save some up for the later months ahead, but to my surprise before I get to my 8th month my body have already outgrown the whole clothes, I was bored silly with everything in my closet that I have to go for another shopping getaway to buy more fitted and comfortable wears for myself. always remember to buy once that is comfortable and matches your waistline.
So if you buy everything you need while you still have some months ahead in your pregnancy, you may end up finding yourself with nothing that fits right as your third trimester progresses, do not buy all at once.
Do consider the fabric. Remember, you are going to be wearing these
them clothes a lot especially if you can afford buying only few wears. Always choose the right fabrics that grow while you grow and has room for your tummy as it gets bigger.

This can happen if you buy
quality maternity wears which can last, but if you buy the inferior ones you
can easily dispose them after your pregnancy journey. It all depends on what
you can afford.
Dress
your age. Remember this is the most grown up part of your
life and not time to start dressing like an old granny, because you are going
to be wearing those maternity clothes for a limited period of time, this may be
one of the opportunity to buy what is trendy, just try and makes the best
memory out of it.
You still need to look and smell good. Avoid ruffles and beaded wears it may makes
you uncomfortable, choose beautiful fabrics with simple clean designs and
styles that emphasizes your best assets.
Do
buy machine washable. Always consider to choose
wears that are machine washable because you may not have all the strength and
time to be hand washing your cloths every weekend and stressing yourself out
unless you have someone helping you with most of the home chores.
