What to expect at your baby’s 4 months check up.

Your baby’s doctor wants to make sure your baby is healthy and happy so during the 4 months old baby checkup;

The pediatrician will examine your child on just a diaper or a gown.

Check your baby’s weight, length, head size, vision, gums and hearing development.

Tell you if there is a need to go to the lab for any additional tests.

Ask you about your baby’s health, any known allergies if there is any existing family health problems.

Advice you on how to take care of your baby and other important health issues.

How to get ready

Call your primary care provider to make a well child checkup appointment

Write down the date and time of the appointment to avoid forgetting.

Keep a record of your child’s shots and insurance cards where you can easily access them.
